Chief Executive Officer - LOCOG
Paul Deighton is the Chief Executive Officer of the London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games, the organisation tasked with making all the arrangements for the hosting and staging of the London 2012 Games.
Prior to joining London2012, Paul was the Chief Operating Officer of Goldman Sachs in where he worked in a variety of management and client-facing roles for over 22 years, and was appointed a partner of the Firm in 1996.
He received a B.A. in Economics from Trinity College, Cambridge in 1978.
