The legal proceedings have begun for the trial of disgraced jockey Kieren Fallon who is to appear in court on allegations of race-fixing.
The former champion jockey and five others are accused of taking part in a plot to defraud punters of internet firm Betfair by ensuring horses lost.
Fallon along with fellow racing employees Fergal Lynch, Darren Williams, Miles Rodgers, Philip Sherkle, and Shaun Lynch all deny the charges.
A week of legal argument is expected before the four-month Old Bailey trial.
Lawyers representing the men will be in court, but the defendants are not required to attend.
All six are accused of conspiracy to defraud between December 2002 and September 2004.
Former racing syndicate director Rodgers is also accused of concealing the proceeds of crime.
