LTA strikes Eurosport rights deal- 13 May 2008 05:25:00

The Lawn Tennis Association has signed a TV rights deal with Eurosport which will provide live coverage of the entire British grass season.

British Eurosport will be broadcasting, for the first time, all four major British grass court championships in the build-up to Wimbledon. 

The new agreement will see the DFS Classic in Edgbaston, the ATP event in Nottingham and the WTA event in Eastbourne join the Artois Grass Court Championships at Queens Club for two weeks of comprehensive coverage in the build up to Wimbledon.

British Eurosport will be showing a combination of live and pre-recorded tennis from the quarter-finals stage onwards at each event.

British Eurosport also broadcast three of the four tennis Grand Slams each year, Australian Open, French Open and US Open as well as action from the WTA Tour and selected ATP events.

British Eurosport is available in the UK on Sky channel 410 and Virgin Media channel 521, Eurosport 2 is on Sky channel 411 and Virgin Media channel 525.
