FEI appoints consultancy agency- 11 Nov 2008 00:00:00
Federation of International Equestrianism (FEI) has appointed Lexis Sport to provide sports consultancy work.
In an effort to spread interest and involve new audiences in the sport, the international governing body hired Lexis to work with its commercial department.
Since the FEI is responsible for the disciplines of show jumping and eventing, as well as niche sports such as carriage driving and endurance, Lexis claimed it will focus on the fact that the horse sport appeals to an upscale family audience and that it is one of the only Olympic sports where men and women compete together.
IN addition to hiring a consultancy agency, the FEI reported it is expanding its event-based sponsorship opportunities, as well as capitalising on the increasing demand for content through the development of a web TV platform.
