O2 SIGNS UP for NBA LONDON Games- 1 Sep 2010 00:00:00
Mobile network O2 has become the first promotional partner of the National Basketball Association’s ‘NBA Games – London 2011’, the first-ever NBA regular season games to take place in Europe.
O2 will also partner the NBA’s Europe Live preseason games and as part of the deal O2 will run competitions for its customers to win tickets and exclusive NBA experiences to NBA matches.
Through its Priority Tickets programme O2 will also from today be offering customers an exclusive opportunity to buy tickets for ‘NBA Games – London 2011’, prior to tickets going on general release on 1st September.
Before the start of the season the NBA Champions Los Angeles Lakers will play the Minnesota Timberwolves at London’s O2 Arena on 6th October as part of NBA Europe Live presented by EA Sports.
The Toronto Raptors will face the New Jersey Nets in back-to back games on 4th and 5th March at the O2 Arena in regular-season games.
