Henman Comms joins SMART scoreboard launch

Quickscore, the manufacturer of the first full colour SMART digital scoreboard for cricket, has appointed sports PR activation agency Henman Communications to handle the PR for its launch at All Our Cricket Live at Lord's Cricket Ground.

Through software and display technology Quickscore is the first SMART digital scoreboard, wirelessly controlled by the CricHQ mobile application. Its aim is to improve live fan engagement at matches by enabling cricket fans to view live match scoring, statistics and results in real-time.

Quickscore SMART scoreboards provide cricket clubs scoreboard technology whilst generating extra revenue for clubs and schools through a digital advertising platform.

Henman Communications will initially focus on the UK market and target the UK’s online and social media communities of country cricket clubs, players, schools and colleges, fans, coaches.

The agency will create video testimonials and product placement opportunities at county cricket clubs and generate editorial and social media coverage.
