Organisers of the Olympic Games Los Angeles 2028 have unveiled the event’s logo, featuring a dynamic ‘A’, which can be changed and updated by athletes, celebrities and creators.
The Local Organising Committee’s emblem aims to celebrate the city’s unique community, as well as its heritage in sport and art.
However, the organisers say that no one illustration could express everything that both the city of LA and the Games represent. So the logo will allow creators to bring their own personal stories to life through their individual interpretations of the city through an ‘ever changing A’.
“There has never been a more important time to give rise to athlete voices,” said LA28 Chairperson Casey Wasserman.
“Sports are a special part of our global culture, connecting people and fans across communities and around the world. The LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games will be a platform for individual stories of triumph, heartbreak and opportunity as we recognise and revere humanity’s diversity and dreams for the future.”
