LaLiga has unveiled a new experiential space, LaLiga Exhibition, which will travel around the world in a bid to bring the league to fans.
The fully interactive and immersive experience of LaLiga and its club, will begin in Latin America in late 2021 before moving to other countries.
Two distinct experiential areas will be present in the activation, with one free access area featuring a range of different games and a hospitality area. The other, meanwhile, will be a closed tour, with specific time slots for each group of visitors, where they can experience the clubs’ changing rooms, the tunnel leading to the pitch, the pressroom and interactive games, among other attractions.
LaLiga says technology will play a key role in the experience, with digital content and dialogue with visitors included in the initiative. The exhibition can also be adapted to venues of different sizes, with the highly-flexible creation able to fit halls from 150 to 1,500 square metres.
“LaLiga Exhibition is a key project for us to continue increasing the visibility of LaLiga’s Clubs and their international expansion in strategic markets,” said Óscar Mayo, Director of Business, Marketing and International Development, LaLiga.
“Thanks to the participation of top-level Spanish and Latin American partners in this first phase, we are convinced that LaLiga Exhibition will be a resounding success.”
The league says the move furthers its commitment to support its clubs in their international expansion, as well as bringing the competition closer to fans around the world, while its business model is based on licensing in different regions around the world. LaLiga says it is already working with several investors to acquire the license globally.
