Rugby League side Leeds Rhinos have announced a new Official Partnership with Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) technology brand Hytro.
The brand will become the club’s Official BFR Training Partner for the 2021 and 2022, and Leeds Rhinos will integrate the brand’s products into their training in a bid to help players increase muscle size and strength and to accelerate their recovery.
“We are thrilled to welcome Hytro as our official BFR training partner,” said Jason Davidson, Head of Athletic Performance at Leeds Rhinos.
“We have long known the benefits of BFR training for muscle growth and recovery. Having access to Hytro’s garments with the in-built safe strap gives our players a much-needed edge to improve overall performance on and off the field.”
Launched in December 2020, Hytro products use BFR technology, which features an in-built strap that restricts blood flow, but which the brand says can help stimulate muscle growth.
