Blockchain-based fan engagement and monetisation platform has signed a multi-year strategic partnership with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).

The agreement will see become the “Official Branded Cryptocurrency Partner” of the Ligue 1 champions, marking the first long-term partnership of its kind.

As the first club to sign up to the fan engagement and monetisation platform, PSG plans to leverage the proprietary technology to enhance and evolve its fan engagement approach. 

The two parties will work together to develop the world’s first Fan Token Offering (FTO), for the Paris Saint-Germain fanbase.

The token will be listed on the platform and will allow fans to engage with PSG through mobile voting and polling platforms. Token owners will also be granted access to exclusive fan rewards, content and experiences. 

The partnership forms part of the club’s broader strategy to integrate blockchain technology across its fan-facing and business operations. 

The platform enables fully secure and transparent digital transactions.
