Voiceworks launch with Sport Social, offering new voice-activated Premier League content for smart speakers

UK-based Voiceworks, claims to be the world’s first full-service voice consultancy covering all aspects of audio, including voice tech and AI, voice search, audio content and creative audio branding.

Launching this week, Voiceworks has unveiled its bespoke sport offering ‘Sport Social’, giving football fans voice-activated content for Amazon Alexa, Google Home and other smart speaker platforms; providing the first daily, human voiced football news, covering all Premier League clubs.

The global smart speaker market is one of the fastest-growing technology sectors and through the service, Voiceworks will offer fans across the world access to digital audio content in the form of short daily updates specific to their favourite club, team line ups, post-match reviews for every Premier League game, daily podcasts and latest news. The content will be available on demand in August, at the start of the 2019/20 Premier League season, allowing fans to access their updates wherever and whenever they want.

Currently over a third of smart speaker users are asking for sport content and Sport Social is available to a potential smart speaker audience of 200m worldwide, via all smart speakers and smart phones, Amazon and Google assistants.
