Duncan Blake is a highly-respected global marketer, who joined BP on graduation and has risen through the ranks of the organisation to become its global director of brand.
Blake’s 29 years with BP have coincided with a tumultuous period in the group’s history, during which time it has evolved into one of the top three energy companies in the world.
As head of brand, Blake oversaw BP’s sponsorship of London 2012. He has since overseen a shift in BP’s sport sponsorship strategy towards parasport, led by an International Partner agreement with the IPC. Most recently, BP has refocused its long-standing commitment to the United States Olympic Committee in favour of six unprecedented agreements with US Paralympic teams.
