Tom started his career doing strategy consulting at Deloitte for three years. He then fulfilled his desire to work in sports, moving to City Football Group to lead a commercial partnerships strategy team. Here he was involved in major deals including Etihad, SAP, Nexen and Amazon and wrote sponsorship strategies for various football clubs. He joined Amazon last year to launch their sports ticketing platform, writing their strategy and negotiating deals with several major UK rightsholders. Since May he has led Wasserman’s multi-disciplinary project with Discovery to create a revolutionary global, digital home for golf fans worth over $2 billion.
