The Sport Industry NextGen Leaders will receive a Leadership Package filled with experiences, coaching and training throughout the year to help develop their potential.
Howard Kennedy will be hosting an afternoon of discussion on various issues in law to help equip the Leaders for the challenges ahead. Our legal experts will be on hand throughout the sessions to share practical advice on spotting legal risks and dealing with them effectively, as well as discussing areas of particular interest to you. We will cover core topics, such as commercial contracts, intellectual property, employment, tax and reputation management, plus some additional topics that are increasingly likely to come up in future. The afternoon will include a series of optional roundtable sessions and panel discussions looking at case studies and shaped around the issues you want to discuss. They will conclude with a drinks reception giving you the opportunity to network.
LOUGHBOROUGH UNIVERSITY LONDON
Loughborough University London is an ambitious and distinctive new development on the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park - home of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Launched in September 2015 the University offers postgraduate programmes to meet the needs of the design, digital, enterprise, media and sport industries. The Executive Leadership Workshop hosted by the Institute of Sport Business on the Olympic Park will provide the Sport Industry NextGen Leaders with the opportunity to explore their own leadership philosophy whilst equipping them with strategies to make informed and ambitious choices throughout their careers. They will be joined by existing and influential leaders throughout British sport who will work alongside them to explore both the challenges and opportunities facing sports leaders of the future.
INSPIRATIONAL DEVELOPMENT GROUP (IDG)
IDG is a business performance improvement consultancy, focusing on leadership, followership and partnership behaviour. IDG, in association with the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst are offering a unique 24-hour Leadership Experience for the Leaders. They will be introduced to the values based leadership approach which underpins the development of the Army's young leaders of today. Lessons learned are completely transferable into the sport industry. With outdoor and classroom based team problem solving exercises, presentations and discussions on leadership and team behaviour, situated in Sandhurst's stunning environment, the Leaders will take part in a hugely valuable leadership development experience.

THE OFFICE GROUP - DEVELOPMENT AFTERNOON
The Sport Industry NextGen Leaders meet for the first time at the Development Afternoon, hosted by The Office Group, on the same day as Sport Industry NextGen Unlocked, to meet their fellow Leaders and the Sport Industry NextGen Coaches. The Office Group (TOG) is home to one of the most creative, exciting and forward-thinking working communities in the UK. The vision of TOG is to create beautifully designed buildings with a wide variety of spaces, and to offer tenants progressive membership schemes and short-term leases to allow for growth and change. Each building has its own unique identity, but all have an excellent range of facilities and vibrant communal areas to foster an open, collaborative working culture. Today, TOG has 12,000 members working across 29 buildings, 27 of which are in London, with more on the way.
