AC Milan and Roc Nation have launched a new partnership that will see the Serie A club join forces with the entertainment company to create ‘purpose-driven initiatives and experiences’.
The football club says the pair will build on their ‘From Milan With Love’ partnership, which brought together some of the world’s biggest musical acts to provide entertainment and fundraising opportunities during the coronavirus pandemic.
The partnership will centre around philanthropy as well as embarking on merchandising collaborations, creative activations and cultural events in an attempt to build the Milan brand and add value to its commercial partnerships.
“This partnership between AC Milan and Roc Nation represents the coming together of two powerful organisations with strong values at their core,” said Ivan Gazidis, CEO, AC Milan. “Our shared commitment to inclusiveness, progressiveness and excellence will drive everything that we do and I am very excited for what’s to come.”
Michael Yormark, Co-CEO, Roc Nation Unified, said: "Roc Nation is thrilled to embark on this unique partnership with AC Milan. Both brands possess a strong commitment to community, which was evident through the success of 'From Milan with Love'. I am looking forward to building on that success by creating more opportunities together that combine the integrity of the club's rich history and Roc Nation's signature ability to create and move culture."
Roc Nation will help the Italian club branch out into the areas of entertainment and lifestyle as part of the partnership. The Jay Z-owned entertainment and talent management company has recently signed Manchester United player Marcus Rashford to join the likes of Siya Kolisi and Kevin de Bruyne to its list of talent.
