Former England and Arsenal footballer Alex Scott will co-host the BT Sport Industry Awards 2018 alongside Mark Durden-Smith, after being officially announced at last night's Official Shortlist Party.
Attended by representatives of this year’s Official Shortlist, the informal gathering took place at Getty Gallery and represents an opportunity for the shortlist to meet ahead of the big night on 26th April.
Tables are still available for the black-tie event on 26th April 2018 with prices frozen for all packages. Find out more here.
One of the most decorated women in football, Scott retired from international football last year with 140 caps, as the second most capped England player of all time, and continues to play for Arsenal.
Scott has already made an impact as a broadcaster, working with the likes of the Premier League, BBC and Sky Sports.
Adé Lang was also announced as the official tailor of this year's BT Sport Industry Awards. To celebrate the partnership, attendees at the Official Shortlist Party had the opportunity to win a bespoke outfit to wear at the Awards. Winners of the prize came from the NFL and Innovision.
The winners will be announced at the BT Sport Industry Awards 2018, on 26th April, with categories recognising the very best activations, agencies, brands, campaigns, content, digital communities, events, governing bodies, rights holders, sponsorships, technologies, use of data and more.
