The first Aphetor Games, a new event pitting teams of influencers against each other, will begin in Snowdonia in Wales on 15th September.

Set up by former Engine Sport Chief Strategy Officer, Carsten Thode, the competition will see six teams of five influencers compete against each other. Three of the teams will be eliminated on days one and two, before the final event will puts influencers from the three remaining teams against each other as individuals - with one ultimately crowned Aphetor champion.

Hosted by YouTube stars Chunkz and Yung Filly as well as presenter and Fulham Ladies footballer Chelcee Grimes, The Aphetor Games will bring together 20 content creators to compete across three days of unique challenges on the peaks of Snowdonia.

Instead of a traditional opening ceremony, the organisers have created a fully scannable QR Code on a beach close to the Games’ location to allow the public to scan the code to gain exclusive access to Aphetor content.

Aphetor Founder, Thode, said: "We wanted to create a sporting series that appeals to Gen Z which meant stripping back how we traditionally consume sport and creating an ecosystem for some of the biggest influencers and creators on the planet to compete, capture their own content, and share it with their audiences on their own platforms."

TikTok star Amelia Gething, Ninja Warrior UK champion Tim Champion, World Parkour Champion David Nelmes, and 2018 'The Voice' runner-up Donel Mangena are among the contenders for the overall crown.
