BATFAST, a cricket simulator company, has appointed Promote PR to manage its UK consumer and trade public relations and social media with immediate effect.
Based in Loughborough, BATFAST, whose clients include the England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB), designs, builds and manufacturers cricket simulators to help make cricket accessible and fun to all ages and abilities.
BATFAST stated it is aiming to increase grassroots participation in cricket with its solution and in the last 12 months, over 30,000 people have played on BATFAST’s simulators, with over one million deliveries bowled to users.
Promote PR has been tasked with increasing awareness of BATFAST as the company looks to secure additional investment which will fund product development and relocation to new premises with bespoke in-house testing facilities.
Runish Gudhka, BATFAST, CEO, said: “With such a strong and long-standing reputation in sport and fitness, Promote was the obvious choice for us to help raise awareness in the UK. We have a shared passion for increasing grassroots participation in sport. It’s this combined with their excellent relationships across widespread media that makes them perfectly placed to help us inspire people to play cricket more regularly via our fun, competitive and flexible system.”
Nasima Hussain, Promote PR’s managing director, said: “With technology advancing so quickly, there are more ways than ever for people to get involved with sport. Following the success of our national women’s team, and with the Ashes and Cricket World Cup on English soil next year, we are expecting a boom in Cricket and BATFAST looks set to capitalise on this with its all-weather solution which removes barriers that restrict participation.
“We’re incredibly proud to join BATFAST at the beginning of its journey and we’re looking forward to an exciting future for the brand.”
