Carmen Jorda, the Spanish driver, has joined CSM, who will exclusively represent Jorda in her motorsport and commercial activities.
Jorda, aged 29, is one of just 11 women to have been part of the driver line up with a Formula One team. She has driven for the Renault Sport Formula One Team, competed in GP3, the Le Mans Series and Firestone Indy Lights.
Jorda said: “I am delighted to be partnering with CSM at an exciting time in my career. From our initial meetings, the team at CSM has shown great enthusiasm to not only drive my career forward, but also grow the profile of women in motorsport.
“Women have come a long way in our sport since Maria Teresa de Filippis made history in 1958 by becoming the first woman to compete in Formula One. But there is still a long way to go, as shown by the current absence of a female driver on the grid.
“Today’s announcement marks the start of an exciting journey. One that I hope will open new doors, inspire others and lead to successful long-term partnerships.”
Tim Lopez, director of talent at CSM said: “Carmen is one of the most exciting personalities in global motorsport, and she has the potential to bring a whole new audience to the sport she loves.
“We look forward to helping achieve her ambitious career goals and build her profile as both a leading driver and inspirational influencer.”
