Sport Industry Group has announced that egoli Media, the artificial intelligence (AI)-enabled technology and media company, has signed as the Official Archive Partner of the Sport Industry Awards.

Founded in 2019, egoli has developed powerful proprietary AI-enabled video annotation technology which gives rights holders and content creators the power to monetise every minute of content created – both in the past and in the future.

By automating what has historically been a manual and laborious process, egoli gives rights holders and content owners the power to automatically repurpose, distribute and commercialise their video archival content for rights managed and royalty free licensing, as well as NFT sales. egoli enables all consumers to personalise their viewing experience of sport and entertainment on-demand in real time.

As part of the new agreement with Sport Industry Group as Official Archive Partner, egoli is partnering with the Sport Organisation of the Year category, which this year features shortlisted entries from Brentford FC, the EFL, the English Institute of Sport, European Tour Group, Extreme E and Loughborough University.

In addition to serving as a partner of this prestigious award category, the Sports Industry Awards will be uploading its own video archive to the egoli exchange. This will give entrants, award-winners and invitees the opportunity to share video clips from each iteration of the annual event over the last 21 years, allowing users both to download archival footage an also to upload their own video and photographic experiences of the event.

The Sport Industry Awards 2022 will take place on Thursday 12th May at Evolution London.
