BT Sport will broadcast a one-hour highlights package after every Formula E race, complimenting the current live UK rights agreement already in place with ITV4.
The new deal, brokered by MP & Silva on Formula E's behalf, starts with the inaugural event in China on 13th September.
The 10-team electric car championship begins with an event around Beijing's Olympic Park, with Miami and London also set to be part of the 2014/15 launch season.
The move expands BT Sport’s motorsport portfolio, which currently includes Indycar, MotoGP, the World Rally Championship and World Series by Renault.
Formula E is already broadcast around the world by rights-holders such as Fox Sports, Japan's TV Asahi, Canal Plus and China's CCTV.
