England Netball has announced the appointment of former ECB Head of National Programmes Katy Ritchie as its new Director of Development.

The role has been vacant since Fran Connolly - who held the post since 2010 - was appointed as the organisation’s new CEO in 2019.

Ritchie, who previously held senior development roles within England Netball, joins from the ECB, where she spearheaded the ECB’s first national programme designed for children - All Stars Cricket - and has seen 185,000 children engage with the game over three years.

Hugo Boss has extended its partnership with with Formula E for a further three years.

The deal will see the brand continue to be the motorsport series’ Official Apparel Sponsor until at least the end of the 2022/23 season. The announcement will see Hugo Boss continue to dress Formula E staff, senior management and volunteers, as well as putting their name to the BOSS | EMOTION CLUB - the premium hospitality experience present at every E-Prix.

The first priority tickets for The Hundred have gone on sale.

The ECB’s new cricket format, which promises a family-friendly experience, will see special prices for families of four, while organisers say the first 100 families to purchase will receive free t-shirts.

Radio broadcaster talkSPORT has announced it has won exclusive audio rights to the Tyson Fury v Deontay Wilder fight, which takes place on 22nd February in Las Vegas.

The radio station says it will produce nine hours of uninterrupted coverage from 10pm to 7am GMT, with the main fight scheduled to take place around 4am UK time. TalkSPORT will also partner with Eastenders’ Jake Wood and Spencer Oliver, who will record a special radio version of their boxing podcast on the night live on-air.
