The International Wheelchair Basketball Federation (IWBF) has partnered with Genius Sports to launch a customised version of the FIBA LiveStats platform.

To be used across all IWBF competitions, the platform will provide real-time statistics from courtside, which will power in-arena scoreboards as well as the governing body’s digital channels, apps and broadcasts.

Race Nation has launched an event app to allow races to track participants on the course as well as sending live messages and allowing spectators to interact with the race.

SportsGiving, the charitable arm of the organisation set up by ex Team GB bobsleigh driver Will Golder, has also been integrated into the app, allowing users to donate using a fundraising page.

Threshold Sports has announced the launch of Heineken Race to the Castle, the company’s first 100km ultra-marathon to be held in the North East of England.

The event, which will take place on 6th and 7th June 2020, joins the three other cross-country ultra-marathons around the UK which make up the Trail Series.

Sports analytics and digital medical records provider EDGE10 has made three hires to its senior management team.

The recruitments include former Strength and Conditioning Lead at the English Institute of Sport, Dave Carolan, who will oversee the implementation of the group’s new Head of EMEA. EDGE10 has also announced the hiring of Melbourne-based Rob Kerr as General Manager, APAC and Montreal-based Louis Crevier as Global Development Officer.
