Former England cricketer Kevin Pietersen has joined Betway as Global Cricket Ambassador.

As part of his new role, Pietersen will give insights and offer tips on the Betway Insider blog. The deal also sees Betway promoting and highlighting content from Save Our Rhinos Africa and India (SORAI), an animal conservation charity headed-up by the man who amassed over 8000 runs for England.

Pietersen said: "This has already been such an exciting year for cricket and I’m delighted to be working with Betway and sharing my love of the game with fellow fans."

Fanatics, the global licensed sports merchandise distributor, has announced a long-term deal with German sports retailer SportScheck to provide fans in the country with ‘one of the widest ranges of official licensed sports merchandise available anywhere in Europe’.

Fanatics International President, Steve Davis, said: “We are delighted to partner with SportScheck, one of the most respected and successful sports retailers in Europe, to bring broader and easier access to the largest assortment of sports club merchandise to fans throughout Germany. German sports fans are notoriously passionate about football and they will have access to a huge range of merchandise from some of the biggest football clubs around the world if they choose to shop at SportScheck.

WBO Super-Middleweight champion Billy Joe Saunders has signed multi-fight promotional deal with Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing after splitting from Frank Warren in early August.

The undefeated British boxer is eyeing up fights with big names like Canelo Alvarez and Gennady Golovkin.

“This move is going to benefit me massively," said Saunders. "Eddie Hearn and Matchroom Boxing can put me right out on the branch for those big fights. I'm on Golovkin and Canelo's turf. Those fights make financial sense and they make sense because we're on the same network.”

Spartan Race UK, the UK arm of the global obstacle race and endurance brand, has announced a new 12-month partnership with British smart ring manufacturer McLEAR.

The deal will see Spartan Race customers receive a discount to McLEAR’s smart rings, which will be marketed across Spartan’s channels. The waterproof, scratch resistant and stress tested rings can be worn on-course and allow the wearer to make contactless payments.
