Interregional Sports Group (ISG) is preparing for the start of in-race betting by launching a new free-to-enter prediction game for Formula 1 fans.

F1 Play offers fans the chance to win a luxury weekend at the Formula 1 British Grand Prix 2019.

It has been has been developed as a customer acquisition tool for those bookmakers engaging with ISG on the broader F1 rights package.

The game, which tests the knowledge of fans by asking them to predict a series of outcomes in each race, can be integrated into the bookmakers’ betting engines so that bets can be offered on different elements of their predictions.

It follows ISG’s unprecedented partnership with F1, which will, for the first time ever, see data taken directly from the track on race weekends that will be packaged and delivered to the betting industry via Sportradar.

The agreement also includes the right for ISG to sub-license betting partnership rights to select betting brands around the world, subject to regulations.

They include regionalised branded on-screen graphics rights; physical and virtual trackside signage; and integration across F1’s digital and social platforms.

ISG Group CEO Chris Buckley commented: “This is a great opportunity for F1 fans to test just how in-depth their knowledge of the sport really is.

“Players will have to make predictions on events from the starting grid to the chequered flag, and if they get it right, they could win a dream weekend at Silverstone.”

F1 Play will be live for the Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix 2019. The competition is open to fans worldwide, who will have the chance to secure a prize that includes two flights to London, accommodation in a five-star hotel, transport to and from the Silverstone circuit, VIP Paddock Club passes, Paddock tours and pit lane access as well as fine dining hospitality.

The game can be accessed via the Apple App Store, Google Play or online.
