Manchester United has agreed a global partnership with HCL Technologies, who will work with the Premier League side to develop a number of digital initiatives for the club and their supporters.
The new deal with the IT services company is the first time the club has had a digital transformation partner.
The initiatives will include the development of the United Xperience Lab at Old Trafford, which will use technology to improve the experience for match-going fans.
Richard Arnold, Manchester United group managing director, said: "Our partnership with HCL is a first for Manchester United. With the introduction of the United Xperience Lab at Old Trafford, we hope to demonstrate best practices within the industry to generate new ideas that leverage the latest technology available in the evolving digital landscape.
