Manchester United has signed Columbia Sportswear as a global partner of the Premier League side.
As part of the deal, Columbia Sportswear becomes the club’s first official outdoor apparel partner, with the company to design a range of co-branded outerwear.
The dual branded clothing will be introduced in autumn 2016, with financial details of the deal not released.
"Manchester United is proud to be partnering with Columbia Sportswear to bring our fans a new and exciting range of club branded products,” said United’s group managing director Richard Arnold.
“Like Manchester United, Columbia is steeped in history and has a reputation for creating innovative premium products. Available in over 100 countries, Columbia enjoys an international reach that matches the club's.”
It is the second licensing deal the club has announced this month, following the news that golf brand TaylorMade-adidas will be launching Manchester United branded golf wear.
