MCLAREN ENHANCES PARTNERSHIP WITH SUNGOD

British performance eyewear brand SunGod has announced a major expansion of its partnership with McLaren Racing that will cover both Formula 1 and Extreme E.

SunGod became the official fan eyewear licensee to the McLaren F1 Team in 2021, but the successful partnership will be significantly enhanced and expanded for 2022.

On top of a refreshed SunGod and McLaren F1 Team collection, fans will see all-new limited-edition models co-designed by drivers Lando Norris and Daniel Ricciardo, race-day pairs to mark key Grand Prix, a unique celebration of McLaren Extreme E, as well as SunGod branding on the drivers’ helmets.

According to a statement, McLaren’s focus on sustainability – showcased by its involvement in Season 2 of Extreme E - matches SunGod’s ongoing commitment to the environment through its See Better campaign, with is its own mission to become as sustainable as possible.
