Nico Rosberg has appointed CAA Sports as the global agency to represent his commercial interests and support him in his new endeavours beyond Formula One.
CAA Sports, a division of entertainment and sports agency Creative Artists Agency (CAA), will help build the current World Champion’s commercial portfolio internationally. In addition, CAA Sports Consulting will work with Rosberg and his management team to develop his marketing strategy as he explores a range of new opportunities and challenges away from the track.
Over the last seven years, Rosberg has been racing for Mercedes AMG Petronas and last year he beat teammate Lewis Hamilton in a head-to-head finale to clinch the Championship in Abu Dhabi. Rosberg then announced his retirement from the sport at the age of 31.

The signing of Rosberg comes on the heels of Formula One’s most recent announcement that it had selected CAA Sports to exclusively represent the sponsorship rights for the global motorsports business worldwide.
Rosberg commented: “It is fantastic to have CAA's support as I strive for new challenges in this exciting new chapter of my life. CAA Sports offers the support that I have been looking for. They understand my motivations and what I hope to achieve. I look forward to our alliance and exploring new opportunities together in the future.”
Paul Danforth, CAA Sports, global head of sales said: “We are thrilled to have Nico join us as a client of the agency. We all watched his incredible Championship-winning season closely and are excited to have a world champion of such distinction and class join our roster.”
Andy Kenny, head of CAA Sports Consulting London, added: “Our strategy and comms team are enjoying working closely with Nico and his team, as we set out the marketing plan for this exciting new phase of his life.”
