Championship side Nottingham Forest have announced that, alongside shirt sponsor Football Index, will carry a 'Gamble Responsibly' message on their kit during their clash with Derby County, as part of the Responsible Gambling Week campaign.

Football player stockmarket Football Index will disappear from the shirts for the game in a move to raise awarness for safer gambling and responsible betting. The company, who began sponsorsing the club at the start of the 2019/20 season will miss out on the exposure that Forest's biggest game of the season will bring.

Discussing the initiative, Mike Bohan, Marketing Director at Football Index said: "We’re delighted to show our backing for Responsible Gambling Week. Gambling responsibly is key to our platform so raising awareness and triggering conversations on how to keep betting fun and safe is a huge priority of ours. We hope our support resonates with the wider public in promoting safe and responsible gambling.”
