Premier League Productions (PLP) has announced Eurovision Services as the Principal Global Distributor of the Premier League.
Eurovision Services, a part of the European Broadcast Union, will use its hybrid fibre and satellite network to control, distribute and monitor content produced by PLP in HD and UHD around the world.
PLP, the partnership between the Premier League and agency IMG, distributes the league’s live games to the international market, as well as extra content including studio and preview shows.
The deal will run for three seasons, starting in the 2019/20 season and ending in 2022.

Football fans across the globe are now watching Premier League matches in HD or UHD transmitted via our dedicated Eurovision Global Network to rights holders around the world.”

The content distributor will also distribute PLP’s 24/7 Premier League Content Service across Asia and the Americas.
