Following on from its appointment by the ECB to create bio-secure Test venues for its series against the West Indies, CSM Live - a Category Partner for the Sport Industry Awards 2020 - was appointed by the Premier League to deliver the seat dressing programme for the restart of the 2019/20 season.
Working the league and its clubs, the agency has been planning, producing and installing large-scale seat covering across the lower tiers of all 20 stadia, which has become a feature of the behind-closed doors games.
The ongoing project is CSM Live’s first engagement with the Premier League directly, adding to its current list of clients in football, which includes West Ham United, The FA, UEFA and FIFA.
CSM Live CEO Alastair Bewick shared his excitement about the opportunity, commenting, “The return of the Premier League was a massive cultural moment in the UK, and we were pleased to play a part in supporting its restart. It was a significant piece of work, given the speed of the turnaround and the scale of the operation. The amount of branding we’ve produced is enough to cover the entirety of Green Park! We are thrilled with the outcome and it’s great to see elite level football back up and running across the UK.”
The agency has a heritage in football, working on projects such as Aston Villa’s Villa Park home ahead of the club’s return to the Premier League in 2019. In 2015, it was also responsible for delivering the new creative, branding and wayfinding programme for Leicester City’s King Power Stadium, ahead of the club’s title-winning campaign.
