Saracens & Lions on #SIBC panel this Friday

17 May 2017

This Friday Heath Harvey, CEO of the newly crowned European rugby champions Saracens, and Charlie McEwen, chief operating officer of British & Irish Lions will debate the latest topics at the Deltatre Sport Industry Breakfast Club.

With Saracens defending their Euopean Rugby Champions Cup crown on Saturday, and with just a few weeks to go until the British & Irish Lions take on New Zealand in their own back yard, the pair will explore the global growth of rugby, as well as the commercial opportunities this represents for brands.

Taking place at the BT Centre this Friday 19th May, both Harvey and McEwen will reflect on their experience in the industry to explore ways in which the sport can stand out in an increasingly congested field.

The duo will be interviewed on stage by sports broadcaster and journalist Jill Douglas.

The Deltatre Sport Industry Breakfast Club kicked off 2017 with Paul Barber, CEO of newly promoted Brighton & Hove Albion FC, reflecting on his time in the MLS and lessons that can learned from overseas that can help better engage with fans. Read more here.
