Blockchain-based ticketing provider SecuTix and payment solution firm ShareGroop have announced a partnership to give event organisers the option to integrate shared payments into their online ticketing site.
Three French stadiums have been the first to offer the ShareGroop service to their customers, allowing each member of a group booking to pay their own share online.
The Stade de France in Paris, the Matmut Atlantique in Bordeaux and the Allianz Riviera in Nice are the three stadia offering group booking.
Frédéric Longatte, Chief Executive of SecuTix, commented: “Depending on the needs of the sector, a ticketing system must be able to offer evolutions that integrate easily into the ecosystem of its customers.
“This is the reason for the partnership between SecuTix and ShareGroop, which allows our customers to integrate in a few clicks the shared payment service in their funnel reservation.”
Florent Brotons, Co-Founder of ShareGroop added: “The stadiums are the most popular event organisers by ShareGroop users, because the events that take place here are experiences that we want to share with our loved ones.
“We are therefore very happy with this collaboration with SecuTix and the Stade de France, Matmut Atlantique and Allianz Riviera, whose aim is to simplify the spectator booking experience.”
The partnership follows a recent deal between SecuTix and England Netball, which will see the brand serve as the netball body's first ticketing and engagement partner.
