Castleford Tigers of rugby league’s Super League has signed up M&D Foundations as a playing kit partner ahead of the 2022 season.

M&D Foundations, which has been designing and installing piled foundations since 1999, has seven offices across the UK.

The company’s branding will be on the front of Castleford’s first-team playing shorts.

World Rugby has confirmed the appointment of Charlotte Samuelson as Chief Operating Officer.

Samuelson, who will have overarching responsibility for all of World Rugby’s corporate activities, including finance, legal, technology, risk and human resources, will join World Rugby in May.

Samuelson, a qualified auditor, previously served in senior roles at Close Brothers, Vanquis Bank, Barclays Bank and Grant Thornton, as well as in consulting, internal audit and risk management roles at EY, the BBC and the Breakthrough Breast Cancer charity.

The Football Association will not sell UK streaming rights for the FA Cup to betting companies in the next tender, according to a report in The Times.

The current deal with Bet365, which covers live rights, will expire in 2024.

The FA said two years ago that it would review its media-rights model before the next cycle.
