Mobile services and cloud software company CM.com has won a competitive tender to become the exclusive ticketing partner to Glamorgan Cricket.

Under terms of the new multi-year deal, the Welsh first-class county cricket club will replace its existing ticketing solution and switch to CM.com's platform for all domestic competitions, international matches and women’s cricket matches hosted at the 15,643-capacity Sophia Gardens Cricket Ground.

According to a statement, 'supporters and fans can expect to see improvements on the new ticketing platform in time for the start of next season. 'The new agreement sees Glamorgan join the likes of the Heineken Dutch Grand Prix and the Invictus Games on CM.com's roster of major sporting partnerships.

The European Tour group has announced that global hospitality company Hilton will become an official partner of the DP World Tour and Official Hotel of the 2023 Ryder Cup at the Marco Simone Golf and Country Club in Rome.

Hilton will also become Official Tournament Partner at four tournaments on the DP World Tour schedule each year, including three Rolex Series events, and the official hotel supplier at an additional three tournaments

The expansive new multi-year agreement, which will also see the two organisations collaborate on creating content featuring DP World Tour, is the latest in a long association between Hilton and the European Tour group, which first started in 2015 


McLaren Racing has announced a new new multi-year partnership with cloud computing and virtualisation technology company VMware.

Under terms of the new agreement, VMware will help the Woking-headquartered Formula 1 team manage, connect, protect, and deliver cloud-based apps.

Additionally, VMware branding will be represented on the McLaren MCL36 F1 cars and race suits of McLaren F1 drivers Lando Norris and Daniel Ricciardo from the 2022 French Grand Prix onwards.


The Premier League has extended an agreement with IMG that will see the two organisations collaborate on the operation of Premier League Productions (PLP) for the next three football seasons.

PLP is the IMG-produced company that produces and distributes all of the Premier League's international content, including the commentary and accompanying studio shows associated with the broadcast of all 380 Premier League matches.


Sport industry veterans Scott Bowers and Richard Conway have announced the launch of a new global sports and entertainment reputation advisory firm, Spectacle Partners.

Bowers, currently the Chief Corporate Affairs Officer of The Jockey Club, and Conway, who was formerly the BBC’s Sport News Correspondent, will both act as joint Managing Partners of Spectacle, with Global Venue Services (GVS) Simon Bazalgette serving as chairman. 


British Canoeing has partnered with charity London Youth Rowing (LYR) to create the 'Active Paddle' programme, which aims to bring canoeing opportunities to young people at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and the Royal Docks in East London.

Supported by Sport England, who will be investing around £140,000 over the next three years, LYR's new partnership with the national governing body will open up the benefits of rowing to young people who would not normally get the chance to participate in the sport.


Sport and social impact communications agency New Reach PR has been appointed by England Squash to support with growing the profile of the sport ahead of the 2022 Birmingham Commonwealth Games, which begin 28th July.

Sports hospitality, travel and ticketing company The Mike Burton Grop has announced Justin Hopwood as its new Chief Executive.

The 47-year-old will, who previously served as the organisation's Chief Commercial Officer, will replace the retiring Ian Edwards in the role. 


France Galop, the governing body of flat and steeplechase horse racing in France, has appointed Lonndon-based HBA Media as its dedicated global horseracing distribution partner under a four-year agreement.   

Under terms of the new deal, HBA Media will preside over France Galop’s entire racing portfolio to ensure global broadcast and multi-platform distribution for the world-famous Qatar Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe and a further 26 Group 1 and Group 2 racedays.


The world’s biggest charity football match, Soccer Aid for UNICEF, has announced that football and entertainment venue TOCA Social will be a partner for the 2022 game, which takes place 12th June at the London Stadium.

The Rugby Players’ Association (RPA) has announced London-headquartered web3 company Eterlast as the title partner for the RPA Awards 2022, which take place on 25th May 2022.

As such the upcoming edition of the awards, which return to Evolution London after a two-year hiatus, will be known as the Eterlast RPA Awards.
