The European Professional Club Rugby (EPCR) has announced IHG Hotels & Resorts as its official hotels partner. The three-season partnership commences ahead of the 2021/22 Heineken Champions Cup and EPCR Challenge Cup quarter-finals, through to June 2025.

Under a first-of-its-kind agreement, IHG will sit alongside DHL and Tissot in EPCR’s second sponsorship Tier underneath Title Partner Heineken, receiving a comprehensive rights package designed to drive EPCR’s global fanbase to IHG’s exciting portfolio of brands and re-designed loyalty programme, IHG One Rewards. Fans will experience IHG via in-stadium, LED activations, social and digital-savvy campaigns, and more.

EPCR’s Commercial and Marketing Director, François Vergnol, said, "We are absolutely delighted to enter into this partnership with IHG, who become EPCR’s first-ever Official Hotels Partner. It is significant that we are expanding our portfolio of partners with this new category. With more and more people wanting to travel, we are welcoming travelling fans back to our matches from our quarter-finals this weekend through to our Finals weekend in Marseille at the end of May.”

Esports brand OG Esports (OG) and purpose driven organisation LDN UTD have announced the beginning of a strategic partnership which will see the current LDN UTD VALORANT team rebranded to OG LDN UTD.

Having retained its VCT (Valorant Champions Tour) status, the OG LDN UTD team will subsequently be competing in the upcoming VCT Challengers Stage, which starts 13th May, with all players wearing co-branded OG LDN UTD jerseys to represent this new partnership. Through this unique partnership, both organisations will provide world class support, including regular high end bootcamps and other performance services to the players.

Hull City FC owner, Acun Ilicali, has provided a teasing glimpse of a new Tigers branded jet that is believed to be the result of a new partnership between the club and a Turkish airline, Corendon Airlines. Although the partnership has not been officially announced, the photo was retweeted by the airline’s official Twitter account, and news of a deal has been leaked to aviation press.

Acun Ilicali has previously revealed he will take five hundred Hull City supporters on holiday to Turkey this summer in what is a first for a football club on these shores. Ilicali revealed to supporters that a select group of Hull City fans and their families will be sent on an all-expenses paid, all-inclusive trip to a five-star resort in Antalya, with the owner hosting the event.
