Winmau has become the official equipment provider for the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) in a new five-year deal.

PDC events will be played exclusively using the Winmau Blade 6 Triple Core dartboard until 2027. Winmau, headquartered in Bridgend, will also support development events, including as a title sponsor of the World Youth Championship.

DAZN Group has appointed Aviv Giladi as President of Broadcast Partnerships, to oversee all joint venture partnerships.

Giladi, formerly Chairman and CEO of global film production companies AI Film Ltd. and British Icon Group, will oversee DAZN Group’s strategy to drive commercialisation of the business.

Amazon Prime Video has teamed up with the Screach streaming platform to deliver its broadcasts of French Ligue 1 football via a smart-TV app to thousands of commercial venues across France.

The Amazon division will use the platform developed by the UK tech firm Screenreach during its three-year deal to broadcast 80% of matches from France’s top two divisions.

Red Bull Racing has named PPDS as the official team supplier of trackside displays for the 2022 Formula 1 World Championship Season.

The partnership with PPDS, the exclusive global provider of Philips professional displays, includes 60 Philips displays in total, covering LED video walls, digital signage and more during all 23 Grand Prix events in 2022.

Media group Sky has announced a two-year partnership with Sir Lewis Hamilton’s foundation, Mission 44, to address the rate of school exclusions amongst black pupils.

Sky said the partnership forms part of its £30m commitment towards assisting communities impacted by racial injustice and comes in the wake of last year’s Hamilton Commission report.
