fourfive, the CBD and wellness brand, has been announced as the exclusive Official Wellness Partner of Saracens Men's and Women's rugby teams, and the Saracens Mavericks netball team.

Founded by former Saracens players George Kruis and Dom Day, fourfive aims to help people lead healthier, happier lives through the power of CBD and Vitamin supplements. 

The deal sees all teams supplied with a combination of fourfive’s athlete ready range of premium wellness products.

Content and communications agency, Sportsbeat, has strengthened its senior leadership team with two new appointments.

Mark Malavan arrives as Business Development Director while Alice Permain, who arrives from The International Federation for Equestrian Sports in Lausanne where she was responsible for broadcast and digital sports content, joins the agency as Head of Content and Strategy.

They join the agency after a series of new business wins, including the appointment as the digital agency for British Athletics and next year's World Gymnastics Championships, in addition to a series of new PR and comms briefs for the National Lottery and Eurosport.

Hull Kingston Rovers Rugby Club and Hull based Internet and Smart City service provider, Connexin, have announced a new multi-season sponsorship deal.     

The partnership is driven by Connexin’s promise to invest locally and bring meaningful benefits to the region by providing a more competitive broadband marketplace and improved services.

The partnership, which sees Connexin become the club’s headline sponsor, will see both organisations come together with the goal of increasing engagement with communities through supporting initiatives across the city.               

Hytro BFR has announced a follow-on fundraising round to expand the business that’s making strong moves in the muscle growth and recovery market.

After a successful funding round earlier in the year, Hytro is looking to secure an additional £1 million in early 2022 to further establish themselves in the fitness industry. Hytro plan to use the capital to develop new products and expand the team after a fast growth period.

Since launching, Hytro has been used by well-respected coaches, practitioners, and athletes in elite sports. Leeds Rhinos and St Helens, alongside internationals such as Josh Charnley, Adam Hastings and Dan Norton are just a few examples of those reaping the performance rewards.
