England are on the verge of being named hosts of the 2025 Women’s Rugby World Cup.
England, who announced their plans to launch a bid last month, has been named as a "preferred candidate" by World Rugby and should it become official, it would mark the second time England will host the tournament since 2010.
In the 2025 tournament, there will be more opportunities for teams to compete for the prestigious trophy, as the number of teams will increase from 12 to 16.

ATP Champions Tour tennis event has announced a new partnership with Official Penguin.
As the Official Clothing Partner of the ATP Champions Tennis event, Original Penguin, will be responsible for dressing all event staff including officials, linesmen, physios, along with ball boys and girls in its iconic white cotton polo. This will be supplemented by the brand’s Stickie Pete Pique Polo, the Sticker Pete Daddy Polo and layering garments including its Fleece Crew Neck. Alongside this, the brand will be visible through further courtside placement opportunities.
Original Penguin is the current apparel partner of Australian golfer, Cameron Smith. Smith is currently placed within the top 25 players in the world, following a third PGA tour win in April. The new range will include nods to the brand’s retro heritage, with bespoke print designs and a Tennis Essentials line. Released in early 2022, the range will have both male and female garments.
European Professional Club Rugby (EPCR) has announced that DHL Express, has become the latest addition to its commercial portfolio as an official partner of the Heineken Champions Cup and EPCR Challenge Cup.
The agreement will see DHL provide customised logistics solutions for both tournaments while enhancing EPCR’s current suite of commercial partners which includes Heineken, Tissot, the Financial Times, Gilbert and Kappa.
