Snack Media Expands Rugby Portfolio

Sport digital specialist Snack Media now claims to represent the largest independent online rugby network, having expanded its existing portfolio of 350 sports websites by securing and the RugbyPass Network.

The announcement coincides with the start of the 2018 Autumn Internationals and comes ahead of a busy 2019 calendar, which will include the 2019 Rugby World Cup in Japan.

The new partnership with,, and will see Snack Media’s total number of rugby monthly unique users surpass the three million mark over nine separate sites.

Snack Media, which currently engages with over 26 million sports fans per month, will also benefit from RugbyPass’ global team of original content producers experienced in developing rugby editorial, shows and podcasts.

As part of the new deal, the company has also secured the RugbyPass Index (RPI), a rugby ranking tool that uses big data and artificial intelligence to rank teams and players.
