Sporting Wine Club has been renewed as the Official Wine Supplier of the Sport Industry Awards 2020 – the industry’s biggest night of the year.
Founded by former England international rugby player and current Chairman of EPCR Simon Halliday, and his business partner Chris Mariner, the membership-based organisation offer wines curated and created by a host of international athletes, including Burger, Anderson, Lionel Messi and Sir Nick Faldo – among many others.
The organisation also run regular events for their members, with sporting personality speakers, wine tasting opportunities and vineyard tours. Alongside this, members also receive exclusive access to the Sporting Wine Club wines, discounts with every purchase and offers at partner restaurants and clubs.
At the Awards – on Thursday 30th April – Sporting Wine Club will supply wine throughout the night; during both the champagne and VIP receptions, across all table packages, and during the after party. Last year, high-profile attendees at the ceremony in London included England and Manchester City star Raheem Sterling, England Manager Gareth Southgate, former Prime Minister Tony Blair, Baroness Valerie Amos, Britain’s most decorated Olympian Dame Katherine Grainger, swimming sensation Adam Peaty, racing’s Sir AP McCoy and rising athletics star Laura Muir.
