streetfootballworld has appointed Dark Horses to launch a new project that connects the football industry to the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
streetfootballworld is an NGO that harnesses the power of football for good. streetfootballworld's work supports a worldwide network of grassroots organisations that place football at the heart of sustainable social change, from refugee integration in Ireland to gender equality in Kenya.
In 2016, World Cup winners Juan Mata and Megan Rapinoe were appointed streetfootballworld's global ambassadors.
“streetfootballworld is guided by the belief that it takes a team to win a game,” said Jürgen Griesbeck, streetfootballworld founder and CEO. “It’s only through collaboration and partnership that we can unlock football’s full potential as a force for good. That’s why we’re delighted to join forces with Dark Horses—a true game changer in the sports marketing space.”
Dark Horses MD Simon Dent commented “Sport for good is one of our core beliefs and we are very proud to be working with streetfootballworld. We fully agree with the notion that football has a unique power to change the world for good. We look forward to helping unleash this power.”
