Swansea City AFC has announced a partnership with on-demand coach service Zeelo to bring Swansea fans a new way to travel to the Liberty Stadium.
Zeelo uses an AI powered- platform called RINA to understand where there are large numbers of fans who have a difficult journey to each home game. They then serve this demand with executive coaches for a quick and seamless journey right to the stadium.
Swansea Fans will be able to travel from 13 locations across South West Wales including Llanelli, Aberdare, Neath and The Mumbles amongst others. The aim is to make the match day experience more enjoyable for Swans fans with Zeelo coaches getting priority entrance and exit in and out of the stadium, avoiding the car parking queues at the Liberty Stadium.
Zeelo currently operates services for 12 Premier League, Championship and Premiership Rugby clubs across the UK including services for Cardiff City FC fans.
All services are run in executive coaches, with all amenities on board and customers can track their coach arriving in real time on a simple-to-use app.
Zeelo are offering the first journey for Swans fans totally free of charge if they enter the promo code SWANS when purchasing a ticket.
Barney Williams, Co-Founder of Zeelo said: “Getting to the Liberty Stadium on match day can itself be a big hurdle for Swans fans to clear just to support the team. We want to get as many fans as possible to the stadium every time Swansea plays and this partnership allows us to provide a stress-free way to get to the game which is tailored for the fans.”
A Swansea City spokesperson said: ‘It’s great that we can now offer this service to our fans. We are constantly looking to improve the transport issues on a matchday and this service from Zeelo is the first step towards that goal. Fans can enjoy a matchday with a drink or two and get to and from the game quickly and stress free.’
