The Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon has announced TruBe as one of its event partners at this year’s race on 8th October.
TruBe, which launched in 2015, is a personal training app which allows users to request personal trainers directly to their home, place of work or local park.
The new partnership will enable TruBe to showcase their trainers through specific training plans available to all runners. TruBe will also be running the half marathon training workshops held in July and September and hosting the complimentary assisted cool down area on race day.
The Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon will celebrate its tenth birthday this year when 16,000 runners take to the streets and parks of the capital on Sunday 8th October 2017. The 13.1 mile route takes runners through four of London’s eight Royal Parks, namely Hyde Park, The Green Park, St James’s Park and Kensington Gardens.
Eleanor Viita, corporate partnerships manager of The Royal Parks Foundation, said: “We are absolutely delighted to be partnering with TruBe. We are very impressed by the calibre and expertise of their trainers and believe their team will be invaluable to all runners as they aim to cross the finish line in best possible shape on race day”
Daria Kantor, founder of TruBe adds: “Becoming part of the half marathon team will give TruBe a fantastic opportunity to support all the runners taking part whilst also demonstrating just how easy and convenient it can be to have a qualified personal trainer help you achieve your personal best.”
