RugbyX has announced new partnerships ahead of its launch and debut tournament at London’s O2 Arena on Tuesday 29th October.
UPS has been unveiled as Official Logistics Partner, and will deliver the installation of the first ever temporary indoor artificial grass rugby pitch at the O2 Arena. RugbyX says that the process, which typically takes six months, will be executed in just six hours thanks to the brand.
Hilton hotels has also been announced as Official Hotel Partner, accommodating players and backroom staff ahead of kick-off, while the event sound will be delivered through the installed Bose Professional loudspeaker system within the O2 Arena. RugbyX has also said it will engage with fans by giving away Bose headphones.
Meanwhile, iPRO Hydrate will serve as the 2019 event's Official Hydration Partner, supplying its range of products to support player hydration and recovery as well as backroom and support staff.
The new brand of rugby, which takes place indoors, on a smaller pitch and with just five players on each side will be on show between the semi-finals and the final of the 2019 Rugby World Cup, in Japan.
