Sports Recovery Manager, Help for Heroes
Hannah Lawton is the Sports Recovery Manager at Help for Heroes and the Chef de Mission for Team UK at the Invictus Games.
Hannah previously worked on the GB Rowing Team’s Paralympic Programme, where she also coached Team UK’s Invictus competitors. Her passion for inclusive adaptive sport led her onto her current career. She plans and delivers a world leading sports recovery programme, that enables serving wounded, injured and sick personal and veterans to lead more active, independent and healthy lifestyles. She develops, implements and oversees the delivery of the High Performance, Invictus Games and Major Events components of the sport strategy, whilst keeping a synergy of the recovery elements. Her passion for sport is the backbone to her working to maximise opportunities for others in different pathways within sport.
