Producer, ITV Sport
Tim Williams is a Producer and Programme Editor on the BAFTA-winning ITV Racing.
Combining his experience in the TV industry with a childhood passion for horse racing, he works on the show’s 94 outside broadcasts a year, plus the weekly magazine programme ‘The Opening Show’ – producing live shows from the gallery at major events including the Grand National, Cheltenham Festival and Royal Ascot.
As well as taking overall responsibility for programme content and leading a large team including presenting talent, Tim plays a key part in building good relationships with a wide range of important clients and partners, from racecourses and sponsors to jockeys and trainers.
Before joining ITV Sport in time for ITV Racing’s launch in January 2017, Tim spent five years at Sky News and Sky Sports News working on everything from U.S. Elections to Transfer Deadline Day and previously worked for the Telegraph during the 2012 Olympics.
