Hannibal started out as a filmmaker working across broadcast documentaries, commercials and award-winning shorts before joining AKQA London to work as a strategist for some of the world’s leading brands. Most of his time at AKQA was spent between London and Portland working as the strategic lead on various global Nike accounts.
In 2017, Hannibal left AKQA to join UK Sport (and its wholly owned subsidiary the English Institute of Sport) as they work towards Tokyo 2020. Hannibal’s current role sees him working at the intersection of sport and culture - where he is tasked to understand, infiltrate and interfere - helping all of the teams around him successfully define the future of sport.
