Group Sports Director, Racing Post
Ben Clissitt is the Group Sports Director of Racing Post, responsible for developing all content across brands platforms.
Previously he was Head of Sport at both the Guardian and the Telegraph where he variously led the Telegraph's award-winning and profitable coverage of the London Olympics, spearheaded the Guardian's integration of its print and digital sports departments, started the first women's football column in UK daily papers in 2002 and gave Russell Brand a football column in which exclusively talked about West Ham.
He was also Digital Director of the Telegraph before becoming its Executive Editor in 2014, responsible for new digital products and editorial management. He was also managing editor of the i newspaper and is a former committee member of the Sports Journalists Association.
